Here's a quick "about me" for Blogger! I mainly blog from my personal style site, Cozy Reverie and my art site, Noisy Merriment, but I didn’t want to leave this blank. That would be silly. I joined Blogger mainly to follow my favorite blogs and be able to comment on my favorites. You can follow me on Bloglovin too!
I am a native of the hot and sunny San Fernando Valley, located in Southern California. I graduated with my BA in Theater from California State University – Northridge. I am a single mother, with the most incredible four-year old in the universe. IN THE UNIVERSE.
Currently, I work a normal Monday through Friday desk job. To achieve a creativity level that I (so desperately) need, I paint and write anything that my little heart desires. This little hobby transformed into what is now known as Noisy Merriment.
Noisy Merriment began as a small Etsy shop that sold vintage items I had found in my mother’s closet. I was tickled to find that I made my first sale the very next day! A small bar sign sold for $5 literally overnight. I decided to begin selling my artwork. I had never had a way to reach people around the country before, so I figured I’d give it a shot.
With the small success found with my Etsy shop, I created the Noisy Merriment blog and the Noisy Merriment Facebook fan page. I was able to connect to people I had never met before; people who admired my work for what it was. With the support and encouragement of family, friends, and fans, in 2012, I self-published my first children’s book, “Hooty Takes A Bath”.
I am excited and incredibly honored to be a partner in the project, A Waltz Through Disney. From the beginning talks of this blog, I have been eager to create art that mirrors my opinion of the Disney world, which I hold very dear to my heart. I grew up with Disney, and now my son is as well. I hope to inspire and express new views, and encourage our readers to do the same.
Now, I have recently started my own neckwear fashion line: Cozy Reverie. With Cozy Reverie, I have added a personal style blog (www.cozyreverie.com), and Instagram account (@CozyReverie). Connect with me there!
